Upper Valley Career Center is for students who flourish in a hands-on learning environment. There is no tuition, but there are fees for books, supplies, tool kits, uniforms, etc. Financial assistance is available to students who qualify.

HOW TO ENROLL

Any student who meets the Upper Valley Career Center credit requirements may apply to the Upper Valley Career Center between December and mid-September.

UPPER VALLEY CAREER CENTER REQUIREMENTS

*The following minimum credits must be obtained before the conclusion of the sophomore year.
7 Credits which include: 1 Math credit, 1 Science credit, 1 English credit, & 1 Social Studies credit; PE/Health & Personal Finance requirement must be fulfilled, as well.

For students who choose the UVCC as their junior and senior year option, their 8-period day begins at 8:25 a.m. and ends at 2:43 p.m. During this time, students work on projects, take study trips, and learn skills on state-of-the-art equipment. Plus, they have the opportunity to meet with employers and interview for jobs.

Required academic and college-prep courses (like English, math, science, American history, American government, and electives) help students meet associate school graduation requirements. Upper Valley students may earn eight credits toward graduation each year. Classes to make up credits after school are also available. Upper Valley students pursue many options after graduation: college, the military, employment, or a combination. All doors to the future are open!
