Parents, due to congestion that occurs at the intersection of Elm and Middle Streets in front of the elementary, we are asking that you or whoever is bringing your child to the drop-off at the elementary school please utilize the entire stretch of the side-walk along the driveway near the school doors. There is ample room for 6 or 7 vehicles to be dropping off at once if necessary. There is no need to wait until you are in the first spot for kids to get out of the vehicle. This will hopefully keep the traffic through that area moving so that vehicles approaching the school do not have to stop on Elm St until there is room to pull into the school driveway, and also create a safer environment for the children who walk to school each day and need to cross at that intersection.
