I am excited to welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year. I know that
the staff members and I are looking forward to another
successful year at Fort Loramie High School, and we hope you are as well.
One new member to our staff this year will be Ms. Alexa Counts. She will
be the new art instructor at the school for junior high and high school art
classes. Some other changes this school year will be; an increase in computers
available for classroom use, expanded College Credit Plus offerings taught at FLHS,
and a new course study skills for our incoming 7th grade students.
I really do believe that our academic class offerings, in partnership
with our athletic teams and co-curricular activities, provide multiple
opportunities for our students to explore their interests while in high school
and allow students the chance to excel in accomplishing their individual goals.
To pursue the school’s mission of preparing our students for college and
career readiness, we as a staff, must work to create a positive partnership
with you as the parent. A strong partnership with you will make a difference in
your child’s education. Therefore, please let us know if there is anything we
can do to help improve your child’s achievement.
We look forward to meeting
you at our open house on August 14th, and working with your child on our first
day of school, August 16th.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and assistance. It is your support that makes our success at
Fort Loramie High School possible.
Sincerely,
Kreg J. Hollenbacher
