I am excited to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year.
I know that the staff members and I are looking forward to another
successful year at Fort Loramie High School, and we hope you are as well.
We have four new members to our staff this year at FLHS.
Mrs. Heidi Kramer will be our Physical Science and Biology teacher this year, Mr.
Jeron Hennon will teach Health and Physical Education, Ms. Lauren Brunswick
will teach 7th & 8th Language Arts, and Mrs. Danielle
Bender will teach 7th & 8th Math.
Another new change this year is that Fort Loramie Schools
has changed to an online system for collecting critical information for all
students. All annual forms will now be completed in the online system OneView.
Please be sure to complete, or make any changes (if necessary), to your form
before the school year starts. To assist in this process, we will have
computers available during our Open House to help have everyone register and
finalize this necessary step.
Once again, to aide in our building security and to assist
in monitoring student traffic in the mornings, entry into the buildings in the
AM will only be accessible through two doors (#1 & #5). This security
measure, along with others we have in place, should allow us to complete our
main goal - to prepare your child for college and career readiness.
To pursue our mission of college and career readiness, and strengthen your child’s academic achievement, we as a staff must also work to create a positive partnership with you as the parent. A strong partnership with you will make a difference in your child’s education. Therefore, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help us assist your child’s success. We look forward to working with your child on our first day of school, August 20th.
I really do believe that our building and staff, and our
academic class offerings - in partnership with our athletic teams and
co-curricular activities - give our students a great opportunity to explore
their interests while in high school and allow them a chance to excel in
accomplishing their individual goals. All of which makes Fort Loramie High
School, a great place to live and learn.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and assistance. It is your support that makes our success possible.
